I agree...you are not pathetic! In fact, you are the stronger one for not kicking their asses...again!
I did the whole drinking alone thing too. I think we've all been there. But you pull out of it. I don't know if you've read my blog today yet, but it fits your situation perfectly. It's all about being left in limbo. I wrote it a couple of years ago when I finally was "set free" by the man who had had me in limbo for the better part of four months while I refused to believe he didn't love me anymore. He just didn't have the heart to say it outright, cruelly, so he dragged me along until he couldn't take it anymore.
Fuck it...I hope you and Berry had a good time!
